Russia's words about peace mean nothing. Zelenskyy comments on strikes on Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih

The missile and air strikes by the russians on Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk Region on the evening of December 6 indicate that moscow's words about readiness for peace mean nothing.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this on his official Facebook account.

The head of state recalled that the occupiers' aircraft dropped guided aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia. The invaders struck Kryvyi Rih. There are killed and wounded in both cities, including children.

Zelenskyy noted that thousands of similar strikes carried out by the russian army over the past three years indicate only one thing - dictator vladimir putin does not need real peace.

"He only needs the opportunity to do this to any country - bombs, missiles, all other violence. Only force can resist this. And only through force can real peace be established," the President said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the evening of Friday, December 6, the occupiers launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. A russian ballistic missile hit near an administrative building.

As of 7:15 p.m., two people were reported killed, and 19 more were injured.

December 7 was declared a day of mourning in the city.

Also on Friday, the russians launched a strike on Zaporizhzhia, dropping several aerial bombs on the city. Nine people were killed, and children aged 4 and 11 received shrapnel wounds.
