After the end of a full-scale war, Ukrainians will want a President of peace, and the current President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will always be associated with war.
This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Portnikov on the YouTube channel Radio Svoboda.
"I believe that Volodymyr Zelenskyy's political career has already come to an end... people will always associate him with war. And after the war, people will want a president of peace," Portnikov said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers did not provide for funding for elections in the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2025.
And at the end of September, The Economist wrote that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may hold presidential election next year in order to supposedly strengthen power.
The Office of the President emphasizes that while the war is ongoing in Ukraine, there is no reason to talk about elections.
