On the night of Tuesday, December 3, russian troops launched 28 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to shoot down 22 drones.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that at night the enemy attacked Ukraine with 28 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types from the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Oryol and Millerovo (all – ru ssia).
"As of 09:00 a.m., units of anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 22 enemy UAVs in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions. 1 drone was lost in location, 2 - left the controlled airspace in the direction of Belarus and the temporarily occupied territory," the message says.
Several hits on critical infrastructure facilities in Ternopil and Rivne Regions were recorded.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of December 2, russian troops launched 110 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 52 UAVs, and another 50 drones were lost in location.
Meanwhile, on the night of Tuesday, December 3, a drone of the aggressor country, the russian federation, hit an energy infrastructure facility in Ternopil. Part of the city was left without electricity.
