During battle in Kursk Oblast, paratroopers capture 11 russians, who are former prisoners

In the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, Ukrainian paratroopers captured another 11 russians during an unsuccessful enemy assault, former prisoners, who signed a contract.

This was reported by the Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thus, during one of the unsuccessful enemy assaults, soldiers of the 80th separate airborne assault Halytska brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the occupiers: some escaped, and those who survived and hid were captured by the unit.

The department released a video with the story of fighters, former prisoners, who signed a contract and ended up in the 11th airborne assault brigade of the russian army. They were tasked with capturing a settlement controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where russian civilians are also located.

"Poorly trained and poorly equipped former prisoners were thrown to die like cannon fodder, and their command fled as soon as the battle began. The enemy, having met our paratroopers, decided to surrender, thereby saving itsown life," the Special Operations Forces stressed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, fighters of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted significant losses on the enemy's manpower and captured several dozen servicemen of the 810th Marine Brigade of the russian federation.
