German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has once again criticized the idea of transferring Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine.
The tagesschau.de portal reported this with reference to the politician's statement at a party conference in Berlin.
In particular, Scholz accused the candidate for chancellor Friedrich Merz of “taking a risky line in Ukraine policy.”
"All I can say is: be careful! You can't play Russian roulette with Germany's security," said the Chancellor.
At the same time, he, according to him, remains "steadfast and prudent", and German citizens can rely on this. At the same time, Scholz stressed that he was also committed to genuine negotiations on a possible peace, “but not over the head of Ukraine.”
