According to positive forecasts, French Mirage fighters will enter service with the Ukrainian Air Forces in January-February 2025.
Defense Express reported this, commenting on the possible acceleration of the aircraft transfer process.
That is, it is assumed that in the best case, the process of transferring the aircraft may be accelerated by a month and a half.
"At the same time, as practice often shows, usually the terms in such cases are shifted "to the right", not "to the left", the publication added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the head of the French Defense Ministry, Sébastien Lecornu, stated that Ukraine should expect Mirage aircraft in the first quarter of 2025. And then it was not ruled out that the supply of the aircraft could be extended until the end of March.
According to preliminary data, France is to transfer six Mirage fighters to Ukraine in the first batch.
