The son of the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) head Tetiana Krupa has posted the first millions of hryvnias of bail for his mother.
This became known from the court session on the extension of the arrest of the MSEC head, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
During the court session, Krupa's lawyers reported that the bail set for her by the court is excessive.
At the same time, the defense of the MSEC head noted that her son voluntarily deposited UAH 3 million in bail from his own funds into the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) account.
Krupa participated in the court session via videoconference.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Krupa's bail was reduced.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NACB) director arrested Krupa's son's money in three banks, but the court canceled the arrest in two.
The Khmelnytskyi MSEC officially explained why they cannot release Krupa. The NACB revealed how much Krupa actually earned as the head of the MSEC. The NACB is investigating new episodes of criminal offenses by the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, Tetiana Krupa. The criminal case on suspicion of illegal enrichment of the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, member of the Khmelnytskyi regional council from the Servant of the People, Tetiana Krupa, was transferred to the NACB. Earlier, the head of the MSEC, Krupa, was sent to custody with the possibility of posting a bail of UAH 500 million.
