Oil depot on fire in Rostov Oblast after drone attack

In the Rostov Oblast, the aggressor country of the russian federation, they allegedly reported a massive drone attack, social media are writing about a fire at an oil depot in the suburbs of the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

The governor of the Rostov Oblast Yury Slyusar has stated this.

According to him, the Rostov Oblast was allegedly attacked by 30 drones.

These drones were allegedly destroyed and suppressed in the north-west of the region.

At the same time, russian public media are reporting a fire at an oil depot in the suburbs of the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

It is noted that this is the Atlas oil depot, which was hit by Ukrainian drones in the summer.

Later, Slyusar reported about a "large fire at an industrial facility in the Kamensk district".

Before that, this oil depot was hit by a drone on August 28. Then, as a result of the attack, there was also a large-scale fire, and serious damage to fuel tanks was recorded.

The Atlas oil depot in the Rostov Oblast is part of the russian military-industrial complex, which ensures the supply of petroleum products to the russian army. This facility plays an important role in the military logistics of the russian federation; in August 2020, joint exercises of the russian Ministry of Defense and the russian Reserve were held at the base of the complex as part of the Caucasus-2020 exercises.
