President of the aggressor country of the russian federation vladimir putin has threatened to strike Ukraine with a new ballistic missile Oreshnik. The targets could allegedly be "decision-making centers in Kyiv".
This is reported by Reuters.
The russian dictator has begun threatening new strikes with Oreshnik on Ukraine, allegedly "in response" to Ukrainian strikes with Western missiles on the territory of the russian federation.
He stated that the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the terrorist country are currently "selecting targets for strikes on the territory of Ukraine".
"These could be military facilities, defense and industrial enterprises, decision-making centers in Kyiv," said the russian dictator.
Putin also said that, according to his subordinate military and technical specialists, a strike with several such missiles at once "will have the effect of a nuclear weapon strike".
In addition, putin said that the russian federation has begun mass production of Oreshnik.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Administration of current US President Joe Biden has allowed Ukraine to use American ATACMS missiles to strike targets at considerable depths in russian territory. This decision has caused active discussion and concerns, but American intelligence believes that the risk of nuclear escalation remains low.
Despite vladimir putin's tough rhetoric and changes in russian nuclear doctrine, Moscow is unlikely to resort to the use of nuclear weapons due to the lack of tangible military advantages.
