Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, commenting on the defeat of Dynamo Kyiv football club by Hungarian Ferencvárosi (in the match of the 4th round of the main stage of the Europa League, the Ukrainian club lost with a score of 0:4), drew parallels between war and football.
The former diplomat made the corresponding statement on the show Priama Chervona.
"I watched Dynamo - Ferencvárosi (0:4). The first half - well done, great guys. The red card there was completely emotional - outside the field flew into the leg. And in the second half they just fell off. By the way, this is also a story about war. You can play for a while, and they tell you: "Well, great guy. In the character. Unity. Will." And then the second half, the same people simply smear them. Football is life. The army is a cross-section of society, politics is a cross-section of society, and football is also a cross-section of what happens every day in communities, families," Dmytro Kuleba made an analogy.
Earlier, the media reported that Dmytro Kuleba could lose his ministerial position because he "annoyed" the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
