The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, by order No. 686, made important changes to the regulation on the military medical commission (MMC) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to it, the category "unfit with exclusion from military registration" no longer exists.
This was stated by military lawyer Daria Holodniak.
Thus, the lawyer said that according to the Table of Disease Disorders, Diagnoses, now profile articles are divided into sub-items, which are newly correlated with the degree of fitness:
- fit for service;
- fit for the territorial recruitment and social support centers / rear units;
- temporary unfit with review;
- unfit for service.
"That is, according to item "a", you can only be unfit for military service and be in the category of those liable for military service (without exclusion)," emphasized Daria Holodniak.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has developed a model of a "digital MMC", which will allow obtaining a medical conclusion in any convenient civilian healthcare institution, and a draft of amendments to regulatory legal acts is currently being developed.
