The ban on traveling abroad and other duties were lifted from the former chairman of the board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine National Joint-Stock Company, Andrii Kobolev, who is accused of illegally receiving a UAH 229 million bonus.
This is evidenced by court materials, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The ban on traveling abroad and other restrictions for Kobolev were in effect until November 12, inclusive.
However, court hearings on the extension of his duties and bans were not held.
Therefore, these restrictions have expired and are no longer in effect.
On September 12, the court last extended Kobolev’s bans and restrictions.
In particular, he was required to notify the court of a change of residence; refrain from communicating with a number of witnesses in the case and deposit all passports for travel abroad with the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the SACPO accused the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine of sabotaging the hearings in the Kobolev case and may initiate a new preventive measure against him. The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine ignored the prosecutors' appeal in the case of the former head of Naftogaz Andrii Kobolev (on charges of paying illegal multi-million bonuses), which allowed the suspect to now avoid fulfilling previously imposed procedural obligations. The SACPO is deciding on the issue of re-imposing procedural obligations on Kobolev.
