The Chairman of the Board and President of "Kyivmiskbud", Ihor Kushnir, successfully ascended Ozodi Peak, formerly known as Korzhenevskaya Peak. A group of Ukrainian climbers reached the summit, standing at 7,105 meters, on July 29. This climb marked another milestone for Ihor Kushnir as part of his pursuit of the "Snow Leopard" title, which involves summiting five Central Asian peaks over 7,000 meters.

"I’ve climbed another step toward earning the Snow Leopard title! Along the way, I planted the flag of the construction leader 'Kyivmiskbud' at the summit of Korzhenevskaya Peak, now called Ozodi Peak. 7,105 meters are behind me!" Ihor Kushnir wrote on his Facebook page.

Ozodi Peak, formerly Korzhenevskaya Peak, is a 7,105-meter-high mountain located in the northern section of the Academy of Sciences Range, 13 km north of Ismoil Somoni Peak.

In 2006, Kushnir conquered Khan Tengri (7,010 m); in 2009, he summited Korzhenevskaya Peak for the first time; and in 2018, he climbed Abu Ali ibn Sina Peak (7,134 m).

To complete the "Snow Leopard" program, Ihor Kushnir needs to summit one remaining peak. This climb was a significant step toward fulfilling the program's requirements.
