Border Service reports on situation on border after blocking of Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint

Yesterday, November 23, at about 10:00 a.m., Polish protesters began blocking the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. No accumulation of trucks has been recorded for the exit from Ukraine, but about 10 freight vehicles are located for the entry.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.

"Currently, border guards have not recorded any accumulation of trucks for the exit from Ukraine. About 10 freight vehicles are located for the entry into Ukraine, on the Polish side, in front of the participants of the action," the message says.

It is noted that the freight vehicles, which have been between the protesters and the Polish Medyka checkpoint since yesterday, have been followed to enter the territory of Ukraine.

According to preliminary information, the blockade will last 48 hours, with a possible extension.

As a reminder, on the morning of Saturday, November 23, Polish farmers began a strike near the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. According to the co-organizer of the blockade, the farmers are protesting for two reasons.
