Russia’s preparation for genocide against the Ukrainian people before a full-scale invasion included the creation of kill lists, mobile crematoriums, and included mass burials.
This was stated by the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, during a speech at the forum “Genocidal Practices of the RF in Ukraine: from the Holodomor to the russian-Ukrainian War”.
Kyrylo Budanov emphasized that the current military-political leadership of the aggressor state of russia purposefully prepared for the genocide of Ukrainians long before the start of the full-scale invasion.
In particular, in an article by russian dictator putin, published in July 2021, the Kremlin leader once again denied the right of the Ukrainian nation to exist.
"Russian propaganda, the highest state authorities, high-ranking officials and the entire state machine, having received such a blessing from their leader, have repeatedly called for the destruction of Ukrainians," the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense recalled.
According to the head of military intelligence, total Ukrainophobia has affected the entire society of russia.
"The genocide of Ukrainians is not only the state policy of the russian federation, but also a mandatory social belief imposed from above," stated Kyrylo Budanov.
Before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the russian occupiers were given instructions on the location of mass graves.
"(The kill lists) were to include teachers of the Ukrainian language, literature, history, veterans of the ATO, journalists, scientists, writers, priests of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and other denominations, who supported Ukraine, public and political figures, heads of state authorities and self-government bodies," the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
Manic instructions and guidelines were synchronously implemented in various regions of Ukraine, where the russian occupiers invaded.
"We saw terrible mass crimes against Ukrainian citizens, the facts of which became known to the whole world. The atrocities of the russian armed forces in Borodianka, Bucha, Hostomel, Izium, Mariupol and many other settlements in Ukraine showed that these identical and synchronous actions were based on clear doctrinal provisions of the russian genocidal policy of the authorities and military leadership," concluded Kyrylo Budanov.
The forum "Genocidal Practices of the RF in Ukraine: from the Holodomor to the russian-Ukrainian War" was held on November 22, 2024. Holodomor researchers, historians, public representatives, and foreign guests took part in the forum.
