The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the aggressor country of russia prepared a plan to divide the territory of Ukraine into three parts around December 2023.
This was reported by the representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskyi in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency on Friday, November 22.
Skibitskyi noted that the Defense Intelligence had reviewed the document prepared by russia, which contains a forecast of the development of the military-political situation in the world until 2045. According to him, the strategic goal of the aggressor remains the complete occupation of Ukraine in order to have a powerful economic, demographic, territorial and military potential.
"And this scenario of further development with a possible division of the territory is not even relevant for 2035-45. It will already be relevant in the near future, for 2026, and maybe even earlier. You have heard putin's statements regarding the Ukrainian territories. He is already saying that the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia Regions and Crimea are supposedly territories of the russian federation according to their constitution. And the published map already shows that the russians perceive the occupied Ukrainian territories as new territories of russia," Skibitskyi said.
The Defense Intelligence representative also noted that the russian federation's plan contains a section on the establishment of a pro-russian government in Kyiv with a refusal to join NATO. The Kremlin also assessed the threats to russia until 2050, and Ukraine already knows them, Skibitskyi noted. In addition, the Defense Intelligence representative reported that earlier the head of intelligence Kyrylo Budanov voiced some details of this document. Russia will try to "solve" the Ukraine issue by 2026, as a long-term war will affect all aspects of russian life, Skibitskyi stressed.
