The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has formed the Supervisory Board of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and approved its composition.
This is stated on the university's website, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The previous composition of the Supervisory Board of the Lviv Polytechnic was approved on May 23, 2014, and its term of office ended on May 23, 2019.
The new Supervisory Board of the Lviv Polytechnic includes:
Taras Kytsmei – a co-founder and member of the board of directors of SoftServe, chairman of the Supervisory Board;
Vsevolod Bilas – the director of corporate affairs of IDS Ukraine, deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board;
Khrystyna Boiko – the director of the Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation "Strategic Changes Foundation", secretary of the Supervisory Board;
Teresa Ewa Astramowicz-Leyk - a professor at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Republic of Poland);
Yaryna Kliuchkovska - a consultant in strategic and crisis communications;
Mykola Kmit - the chairman of the board of directors of the MUKKO agricultural holding;
Pavlo Sheremeta - a managing partner of the Proryv.in.ua company;
Dmytro Shymkiv - a member of the supervisory boards of Kyivstar, Helsi, and the Ukrainian Startup Fund;
Oleksandr Shlapak - the president of the Ukrainian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
Taras Fedak - the director of Energoinvest LLC.
According to the legislation, the supervisory board is created to facilitate the solution of promising tasks for the development of a higher education institution, attract financial resources to ensure its activities in the main areas of development and exercise control over their use, effectively interact with state and local government bodies, the scientific community, socio-political organizations and economic entities in the interests of developing and improving the quality of educational activities and competitiveness of the higher education institution, etc.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the head of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" Yurii Bobalo has the highest salary at the university.
