Israel Defense Forces find much more russian weapons in Hezbollah’s possession than expected - WSJ

Israeli forces conducting an operation in southern Lebanon have encountered much more russian weapons in the arsenal of the terrorist group Hezbollah than previously thought,

The Wall Street Journal reported, citing military and security sources.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), 60-70% of the weapons found in the first days of the ground operation were russian-made. Among them are Kornet anti-tank missiles manufactured in 2020.

Although the exact origin of the weapons remains unclear, it is believed that a significant part of them comes from the arsenals of the Syrian army, which has long received weapons from russia.
