Zelenskyy appeals to russian opposition regarding collective responsibility

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to the russian opposition regarding the collective responsibility of russians for the war.

He said this at the presentation of the Resilience Plan in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Putin gave the order to start the war, his entourage is organizing waging war, but russian aggression is based on the actions and connivance of many russians. Putin created the conditions for murder, but missiles are launched, drones are launched, our Ukrainian positions are stormed, our Ukrainians, our prisoners, military, civilians are tortured, and the war machine is provided by russians, not just one, crazy person in the Kremlin. Russia's responsibility must be collective, what they are doing cannot be attributed only to state power, repression or propaganda, war is part of russian culture," he noted.

According to the President, every opposition politician from russia should take an "unambiguous position on unambiguous things about Ukraine, about Crimea, about Donbas, about the International Criminal Court warrant for putin, about a tribunal for russia for this war."

"You can't cover everything that russia has done in these thousand days with one phrase: "No to war," he summed up.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that "Ukraine will have to survive someone in Moscow in order to restore its integrity."
