Italy did not allow Ukraine to strike russia with its weapons - media

The Italian government did not allow Kyiv to use weapons provided by Rome to strike russia.

This is reported by Le Monde with reference to Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.

"Our position on the use of weapons by Ukraine does not change, they can only be used inside Ukrainian territory," he said.

In addition, Tajani called for negotiations in which China should participate.

"I hope that Beijing can play a positive role in making Moscow understand that this senseless war must be stopped," he added.

Tajani believes that the presence of North Korean soldiers in the russian army worsens the chances of establishing peace.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 17, the American newspaper The New York Times stated that US President Joseph Biden allowed the Ukrainian military to use long-range missiles to strike the territory of the aggressor country, russia.
