Power outage schedules in Kyiv and region may be canceled tomorrow or day after tomorrow — energy expert

Energy expert Hennadii Riabtsev spoke about the possible cancellation of power outage schedules in Kyiv and the region in the coming days. He stated this on the air of the Ranok.LIVE program.

"It can happen tomorrow or the day after tomorrow," Hennadii Riabtsev said.

According to the expert, although no critical facilities were damaged in the capital, Kyiv and the region are part of the unified energy system of Ukraine, in which there is currently a shortage of electricity.

The expert noted that energy companies are making maximum efforts to quickly restore electricity supply, and the weather conditions in the coming days should not significantly affect this process.

Recall that on November 17, the russian occupiers attacked the country's energy system, which led to emergency power outages.

As previously reported, as of November 18, power outage schedules have already been canceled in four regions of Ukraine. These are the Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Zakarpattia and Rivne Regions.
