During day, enemy shows greatest activity in Kurakhove and Pokrovsk Axes - General Staff daily summary

The enemy does not stop trying to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine. To date, the enemy has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 75 times. It is most active in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk Axes, where it conducted almost half of all attacks.

This is stated in the daily operational summary from the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the text of which is posted on the department's official page on Facebook.

The border areas of the Sumy Region continue to suffer from russian artillery shelling - the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Hrabovske, Pavlivka, Tymofiivka, Zhuravka, Volfyne, Velyka Pysarivka, Khrinivka and Basivka were affected. Mazenivka and Novenke were hit by enemy aircraft.

Also, the russian occupiers made 10 strikes on their own territory, 11 guided aerial bombs have already hit the Kursk Oblast.

Today, in the Kharkiv Axis, russian terrorists tried to carry out offensive actions four times near Vovchansk and Strilecha, two attacks have already been repelled.

Eight times the enemy attacked our positions in the Kupyansk Axis. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near the settlements of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Kruhlyakivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman Axis, enemy units do not stop attacking in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Cherneshchyna, Tverdokhlibove, and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers have already repelled six out of seven enemy attacks in this Axis. Terrorists carried out airstrikes in Borova, Ivanivka and Dronivka areas.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Siversk and Kramatorsk Axes, but carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kreminna and Khromivka.

Currently, there have been two enemy attacks in the Toretsk Axis. The enemy attacked near the settlements of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. One attack has already been stopped. The aggressor's aviation bombarded the areas of the settlements of Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka and Svitlodarsk.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already carried out 14 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Petrivka, Novooleksiyivka, and Pustynka areas. The Defense Forces, restraining the enemy onslaught, repelled half of the enemy's attacks.

It is the hottest today in the Kurakhove Axis, where 16 combat clashes are currently being counted, the invaders are most actively trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Nova Illinka, Berestky, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka and Antonivka. Eleven fights are still ongoing.

In the Vremivka Axis, the invaders attacked the positions of the Ukrainian troops seven times near Romanivka, Sukhi Yaly, Novodarivka, and Rivnopil, and three skirmishes continue until now. The enemy attacked with non-guided aerial missiles and guided aerial bombs in the area of ​​Velyka Novosilka.

The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv Axes.

Twice, without success, the enemy tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in the Prydniprovsk Axis. It carried out an airstrike by non-guided aerial missiles on Olhivka.

At the moment, no significant changes have been noted in other Axes.
