On the night of Saturday, November 16, russian troops launched 83 drones and an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to destroy 53 UAVs, 30 enemy drones were lost in location.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of November 16 (from 8:30 p.m. on November 15), the enemy attacked the Kharkiv Region with a S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, attacked with 83 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type from the Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk areas (russian federation).
"As of 08:30 a.m., the shooting down of 53 enemy UAVs in the Cherkasy, Odesa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi Regions has been confirmed," the message reads.
According to the information of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of active countermeasures by the Defense Forces, 30 enemy UAVs were lost in location in various regions of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, November 15, the russian federation launched 29 drones and two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to destroy 25 UAVs and one missile.
