The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will notify the population of Ukraine about existing threats via Viber.
This was announced by a representative of the Air Force, Colonel Yurii Ihnat, on Facebook.
"The Air Force continues to inform the population about threats from the air in Telegram and WhatsApp. Since the fate of Telegram in Ukraine is uncertain, we must provide ourselves with additional platforms for communication and information about air threats," the Air Force said.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation recommended and assured that Viber is completely safe today and does not have russian control.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council is working on the regulation of digital platforms. Currently, there is no talk of a complete ban on the Telegram social network.
However, the same body previously stated that it expects a complete ban on Telegram in Ukraine.
In September, the National Coordination Center for Cyber Security decided to limit the use of Telegram in state authorities, military formations and critical infrastructure facilities.
At the same time, the restriction on the use of Telegram does not apply to the official Telegram channels of state authorities, but has a recommendation nature for the government.
