Yulia Tymoshenko meets with Polish President

Today, November 15, in Warsaw, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, held a meeting with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

"I want to thank Poland for its powerful support and efforts aimed at preserving our statehood and winning the war against the Kremlin," Yulia Tymoshenko said.

She noted that it was Poland that provided the most aid to Ukraine among countries in relation to GDP and accepted a huge number of Ukrainian refugees.

In turn, Andrzej Duda expressed his belief that Ukraine will be able to defend its freedom, and "the war will soon end in victory."

"Without a free and independent Ukraine, it is difficult to imagine an independent and safe Poland, Lithuania or other countries in our region. We admire the heroic struggle of Ukrainians to preserve independence. Poland will support Ukraine until its successful conclusion," he said.

Yulia Tymoshenko informed her interlocutor about the current situation in Ukraine, which has developed due to russia's war against our country. It was also about our movement to the EU.

In this connection, Duda noted that putin attacked Ukraine in order to stop its integration into the EU.

"If someone says... that they will block Ukraine's access to the EU, then this corresponds to vladimir putin's policy," he added.

It should be noted that on November 15, the delegation of the Batkivshchyna party will participate in the international conference "On the carousel of changes. Scenarios of the 21st century for Poland and Europe", which is held by the Aleksander Kwaśniewski Amicus Europae Foundation.

Statesmen and politicians, leaders of business, non-profit organizations and government participate in this event. Among the participants, in particular, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, the Minister of EU Affairs of Poland, Adam Szłapka.
