President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that during the evening shelling of Odesa on November 14 by the russian federation, among other things, a hit was recorded on the territory of the port. He emphasized that Ukraine needs effective protection against the terror of the russian federation - air defense equipment, the ability to destroy instruments of terror on enemy territory, defense packages, sanctions.
He announced this on social networks.
"Yesterday evening there was a combined massive attack on Odesa. Missiles and drones. Residential buildings, a heat main, an educational institution, a church were damaged. There was also a hit on the territory of the port. Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of this terror. Ten more people were injured, including two children," the report says.
Zelenskyy emphasized that russia does not stop shelling peaceful cities and communities, regions of Ukraine. And over the past day, the occupiers attacked with artillery, drones and air defense systems in the Donetsk Region, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv Region, Kharkiv Region, Luhansk Region, Kherson Region, Sumy Region, and Chernihiv Region.
"We constantly defend ourselves against such russian attacks and constantly need effective protection against this terror. We constantly repeat that Ukraine needs air defense equipment, the ability to destroy instruments of terror on enemy territory, defense packages, and sanctions pressure on russia," the President emphasized.










As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of November 15, the russians struck Odesa with two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the Black Sea. The occupiers also attacked Ukraine with 29 Shahed strike UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Crimea areas.
In Odesa, as a result of an evening attack by russian terrorists, 1 person was killed, at least 10 others were injured, including a child. The temple, residential buildings, a store, garages, the main heat supply pipeline, and vehicles were damaged. Windows were broken in the buildings, balconies and roofs of some of them caught fire.
