Department of State makes statement regarding strikes deep into russia

The US position regarding long-range strikes deep into russia has not changed. The administration maintains a policy of limited use of weapons by Ukraine.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the US Department of State, Vedant Patel, during a press briefing on Thursday, November 14.

"I have no announcements regarding any changes in policy," the representative of the Department of State noted.

According to him, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is in Brussels, continues to discuss with allies and partners the reaction to russia's involvement of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine.

According to Patel, North Korea's participation in this war causes great concern not only in Europe, but also in the Indo-Pacific region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine does not need permission from the United States to attack targets deep in russia with weapons of its own production.
