Ukraine and Norway sign agreement in field of defense

The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Norwegian Defense Materials Agency (NDMA) have signed an agreement on expanding defense cooperation.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, has announced this.

It is noted that the agreement opens up new opportunities for the exchange of information on the arms market, joint research and development of innovative military technologies.

"Working groups have already been created in Kyiv and Oslo, within which NDMA experts help train Ukrainian specialists in various areas," Umerov informed.

He is convinced that deepening cooperation with NATO partners will increase the efficiency of planning and supply of weapons, which is critically important for countering russian aggression.

"I am sincerely grateful to our Norwegian colleagues for their support and willingness to share their experience. Together we are strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and the security of the whole of Europe," the Minister summed up.

Recall that Estonia plans to transfer weapons of its own production to Ukraine.
