The russian occupiers have launched a combined missile-drone attack on Kyiv – for the first time in the last 73 days. Air defense forces destroyed several cruise missiles, several ballistic missiles and about a dozen drones that attacked the capital. There was no information about the destruction.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko, announced this.
Thus, according to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy probably used air-based cruise missiles, KN-23/KN-24/Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Shahed/Geran/Gerbera/Parodiya type drones for the attack.
"The air raid alert was announced in the capital at half past seven in the morning due to the threat of UAVs from the eastern direction. At that time, cruise missiles were already heading in the direction of the Kyiv Region. When the missiles were already entering Kyiv, the enemy simultaneously launched a ballistic attack on the capital. The enemy attack ended again with drones," Popko explained.
In general, the air attack on Kyiv lasted more than 2 hours. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, the Defense Forces destroyed several cruise missiles, several ballistic missiles and up to a dozen enemy drones.
Despite all that, it was reported that there was no information about the destruction or victims in Kyiv.
