Russian propaganda accuses Ukrainian army of looting village in Kursk Oblast, in which it was not present

Russian propaganda accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the alleged looting of the village of Glushkovo in the south of the Kursk Oblast. At the same time, the propagandists forgot to specify that the Ukrainian military had never been to this settlement.

Russian military bloggers drew attention to this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Last Sunday, November 10, the state agency TASS published an article in which, referring to a female soldier with the call sign "Rys", it accused the Ukrainian army of looting.

According to the russian servicewoman, after returning home, residents of the Kursk Oblast found that their homes had been looted.

"Everything in the house was chopped up, turned upside down, the AFU took something with them. Sometimes people come to houses with completely bare walls," propagandists quote the words of a serviceman.

The propagandists did not take into account one thing - for the entire time since August of this year, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine began an operation in the Kursk Oblast, the Ukrainian military was not in Glushkovo.

According to the interactive map of combat operations of the Ukrainian project DeepState, as of September 1 (the peak of the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast), the Ukrainian military was approximately 10 kilometers from Glushkovo.

Russian military bloggers drew attention to the TASS material.

The so-called "journalist" and propagandist Roman Saponkov wrote that there was no AFU in Glushkovo.

Propagandist Volodymyr Romanov also confirmed the lies of the TASS agency.

Later, TASS edited its material, removing the mention of the village of Glushkovo. The original text was published by propagandist Saponkov.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the second half of August it became known that the russian military had robbed a communications salon in the village of Glushkovo. A fighter of the "Akhmat" unit was spotted among the looters.
