Ukrenergo proposes to increase electricity transmission tariff by 26%

The Ukrenergo national energy company proposes to increase the tariff for electricity transmission by 25.8%, or by UAH 136.69 per MWh, to UAH 665.26 per MWh.

ExPro writes about this with reference to the draft tariff published by Ukrenergo, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The corresponding project of the resolution for approval is proposed to be considered at the meeting on November 13," ExPro reports.

Ukrenergo also proposes to raise the tariff for electric energy transmission services for "green" electrometallurgy enterprises to UAH 352.73 per MWh.

In addition, the company plans to reduce the tariff for dispatching (operational and technological) management services by 10% to UAH 95.07 per MWh.

The message says that the costs of performing special duties for 2025 are forecast at the level of UAH 30 billion, which is 46% of all costs of the transmission system operator based on the transmission tariff.

The projected volume of electricity transmission for 2025 is 98,651 million kWh.

The projected weighted average "green" tariff for 2025 is UAH 6,437.28 per MWh.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Energy Commission increased the tariff for the transmission of electricity to Ukrenergo by 9% to UAH 528.57 per MWh from 2024.
