In January-September, compared to the same period last year, the main logistics company of the Nova Poshta group reduced net profit by 49% to UAH 1.65 billion.
This is stated in the company's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The decline in profitability is due to several main factors. Firstly, this is an increase in the company's expenses for charity, secondly - an increase in depreciation expenses due to a significant increase in the investment program, thirdly, an increase in expenses due to inflation and a general increase in prices," the message said.
At the same time, the company increased its revenue by 19.7% to UAH 30.81 billion during the specified period.
It is noted that in 9 months of 2024, the number of delivered parcels and cargoes amounted to 336 million - this is 17% more than in the same period of 2023.
Also, 11 million international parcels were delivered.
As of October 1, the Nova Poshta network has 12,400 branches and 20,170 post machines.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-June, compared to the same period last year, the express delivery company NOVA group "Nova Poshta", in accordance with international financial reporting standards, reduced its net profit by 38%, or by UAH 0.915 billion, to UAH 1.487 billion.
In January, the Nova Poshta group of companies decided to change its name to NOVA due to the expansion of the field of activity.
Nova Poshta is an operator in the market of express delivery of postal items across Ukraine, established in 2001.
The owners of the company are Vyacheslav Klymov and Volodymyr Popereshniuk.
