Andrii Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said that the russians are "ready for massive shelling." According to him, the simulation of missile launches is part of maintaining aviation in readiness for action.
He reported this in Telegram.
"As I said, the russians are ready for massive attacks. There are enough missiles, they are accumulated at strategic aviation airfields and continue to accumulate. The aviation is also ready," he said.
The head of the CCD noted that practicing the tactics of simulated launches by the russians is also part of maintaining aviation in readiness for action.
"And the enemy uses it for psychological pressure," he added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, emergency power outages were imposed in Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine this morning due to the threat of russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
In particular, the Air Force reported the launch of cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea region. Monitoring channels stated that the launch was a simulation and training exercise.
