On the night of November 11, the russians attacked Ukraine with Kh-59/69 missiles and 74 Shahed UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed both missiles and 39 UAVs, 30 drones were lost in location, 3 more flew in the direction of Belarus and temporarily occupied territories as of 09:30 a.m.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of November 11, 2024 (from 08:00 p.m. on November 10), the enemy attacked with two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the temporary occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia Region, 74 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type from the Kursk, Primorsko- Akhtarsk, Oryol, Bryansk - russian federation," the report says.
As of 09:30 a.m., two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 39 enemy UAVs were shot down in the following regions:
- Kyiv,
- Zhytomyr,
- Poltava,
- Sumy,
- Cherkasy,
- Zaporizhzhia,
- Chernihiv,
- Dnipropetrovsk,
- Mykolaiv.
"30 enemy drones were lost in location in different regions of Ukraine, another 3 russian UAVs left the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Belarus and the temporarily occupied territory," the Air Force added.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of November 11, emergency power outages were imposed in Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine due to the threat of russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
In addition, on the night of November 11, the russian occupiers launched a massive FAB attack on Zaporizhzhia. A residential building and a dormitory were damaged. 1 person was killed, 21 were wounded, including 5 children.
