Starting today, the Reserve+ application has the possibility to issue a deferral of mobilization online. The updated version of the application is already available in the AppStore and PlayMarket, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
"Ukrainians will be able not to stand in lines and collect papers to extend the deferral every three months. The source of additional burden will be removed from territorial recruitment and social support centers’ employees. Most importantly, by launching online deferral, we continue to replenish the ecosystem of products for persons liable for military service that help them solve issues not in queues, but with the help of a few minutes and a smartphone," said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko.
According to reports, the online deferral service is currently available to: people with disabilities who have a current disability pension certificate; students, postgraduates and doctoral students who are getting their education in a sequential order. For example, after a bachelor's degree, they get a master's degree. Or after a master's degree, they study at a postgraduate school.
"Next, deferrals will be launched for parents with many children who have 3 or more minor children in one marriage. They are currently in beta testing," the Ministry of Defense said.
