The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell arrived on Saturday on an official visit to Kyiv.
He wrote about this on the X social network (formerly Twitter), the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"In Kyiv for my 5th visit since Russia’s full-scale invasion and last one as HRVP. EU support to Ukraine has been my personal priority during my mandate and will remain on top of the EU‘s agenda," he wrote.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Borrell believes that the lifting of restrictions on Ukraine's use of Western weapons against the russian military in accordance with international law will help "advance peace efforts."
