On Thursday, November 7, in the afternoon, the russian occupation forces carried out a massive air attack on Zaporizhzhia, hitting 5 missiles and guided aerial bombs, as a result of which a hospital and residential buildings were damaged, and people were wounded.
This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"In the middle of the day, russian missiles and guided aerial bombs are flying at Ukraine, at civilians! A massive attack on Zaporizhzhia. The enemy struck 5 blows," the message reads.
According to Fedorov, residential buildings and a hospital were hit, and people were wounded as a result of the attack.
Later, the State Emergency Service reported on the Telegram channel that as a result of the enemy attack, 1 person was killed, 18 were wounded and 2 were rescued.
However, according to updated data from the State Emergency Service, the number of people killed as a result of russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia increased to 4, and 18 people were wounded.
Rescuers pulled out two wounded children and an injured woman from under the rubble; the victim lived on the third floor, after the collapse of the building she ended up on the second.
An ordinary residential apartment building, private houses were destroyed and an oncology hospital building was damaged.
According to the report of the State Emergency Service, the extent of the destruction is being established, people are being searched under the rubble.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier Fedorov reported that in October, the enemy had struck almost 11,000 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia Region.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, in the Zaporizhzhia Region, more than 1,700 civilians have been injured, 570 were killed, including 38 children.
More than 16,100 households were destroyed and damaged.
