On the night of Thursday, November 7, the russian occupation forces launched 106 UAVs and drones of an unknown type over the territory of Ukraine; air defense forces shot down 74 drones, 25 unmanned aerial vehicles were lost in location.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of November 7 (from 9:00 p.m. on November 6), the enemy attacked with 106 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type from the directions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol - the russian federation, and the temporary occupied territory of Crimea.
"As of 12:00 p.m., the downing of 74 enemy UAVs in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv Regions has been confirmed. 25 enemy drones have been lost in location in various regions of Ukraine," the message says.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian occupation forces launched 63 drones on the territory of Ukraine on the night of Wednesday, November 6, and also attacked Odesa with two guided air missiles; air defense forces shot down 38 drones.
On the night of Thursday, November 7, debris from downed russian drones fell in five districts of Kyiv. As a result, a number of fires broke out. There is destruction of housing and wounded.
