Zelenskyy is going to Hungary today at invitation of Orbán

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he will arrive in Hungary on November 7 at the invitation of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to participate in the summit of the European Political Community.

The head of state announced this in an evening video message on Wednesday, November 6.

"Tomorrow [November 7] I will be in Budapest - at the summit of the European political community at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Hungary, who chairs the European Council, Viktor Orbán, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. This is already the fifth summit in that format. The first was in the Czech Republic, the second - in Moldova, then in Spain, Great Britain. Now - Hungary," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, on November 7 there will be a series of meetings and agreements with European leaders, and the Summit will discuss security challenges in Europe and new opportunities for all partners. Zelenskyy also noted that the world will benefit from the implementation of the words of the then 45th and now 46th President of the United States "about peace through strength". Currently, there is interaction at the level of teams between Ukraine and the USA, the President emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 6, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election.

On October 18, Orbán stated that it is necessary to start immediate negotiations with the aggressor country of russia.

It will be recalled that on October 17, Zelenskyy spoke about the meeting with Orbán in Brussels.
