The Cabinet of Ministers included technical objects of telecommunications operators in the list, which will not be subject to power outage schedules.
This was reported by Ukrinform on Tuesday, November 5, with reference to government resolution No. 1260 of November 1.
"According to the document, electricity consumption limitation schedules will not be applied to the Security Forces and Defense Forces, as well as to technical means of electronic communications and/or structures of electronic communication networks according to the lists determined by the National Center for Operational-Technical Management of Telecommunications Networks," the message reads.
The list of critically important facilities with priority electricity supply will be valid until June 1, 2025, the publication notes.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, mobile operators were required to provide 10 hours of network operation during power outages.
On August 1, mobile operators noted that it is extremely difficult to ensure 100% autonomy of mobile communications and the Internet for 10 hours during power outages.
The National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the fields of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum and the provision of postal services has reduced fees for national traffic termination services for mobile and fixed voice communications in Ukraine.
