Quotations of Ferrexpo shares keep growing for 4th week in a row, up 11.2% to GBP 0.656 per share October 28 – November 1

In the period of October 28 – November 1, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc (United Kingdom), which controls Poltava Mining and Yeristovo Mining (both located in Horishni Plavni, Poltava Region), at the London Stock Exchange increased by 11.2% or GBP 0.066 per share to GBP 0.656 per share, growing for the 4th week in a row.

That follows from the data posted at the London Stock Exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the report, on October 28, the shares of the company were quoted at the level of GBP 0.590 per share; on October 29, they increased to GBP 0.651 per share; and on October 30, they rose to GBP 0.673 per share.

On October 31, the share quotations decreased to GBP 0.645 per share; but on November 1, they increased to GBP 0.656 per share.

The transactions were being conducted throughout the week.

Since the start of the year, the company's share quotations have decreased by 27.4% (compared to the level of quotations on December 29, 2023 - GBP 0.903).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the period of October 21-25, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc at the London Stock Exchange increased by 13.9% or GBP 0.071 per share to GBP 0.580 per share, growing for the 3rd week in a row.

In the period of December 31, 2022 - December 31, 2023, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc at the London Stock Exchange fell by 42.6% or GBP 0.669 per share to GBP 0.903 per share.

In January-June 2024, compared to the same period last year, the Ferrexpo plc increased its net profit twice, or by USD 28 million, to USD 55 million.

The group's earnings in the first half of the year increased by 64% to USD 549 million, mainly due to the recovery of exports from Ukrainian Black Sea ports.

In the first half of the year, the company increased EBITDA (Earnings before Taxes, Interest, and Depreciation) by 24%, or USD 15 million, to USD 79 million, which is largely due to increased revenue due to increased production.

Capital investments in the 1st half of the year decreased by 5% to USD 55 million.
