All facts regarding the granting of disability to policemen and other employees of law enforcement agencies are being checked.
This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko during an hour of questions to the government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"All the facts regarding the granting of disability to rank-and-file employees in law enforcement agencies are also currently being checked," he said.
According to his words, all law enforcers, who were disabled during the war, will undergo military medical commissions and medical and social expert commissions.
"Those who received such a disability during the war will all come again to the military medical commission and, accordingly, to the MSEC. Summon to your committee the minister or deputy minister or the head of the National Police who is responsible for this work, and we will gladly in a few weeks we will provide all the information that we will establish by that time," Klymenko explained.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Klymenko stated that there is not a single employee of the National Police in "epaulettes" with a disability.
MPs propose to the Verkhovna Rada to cancel the right of prosecutors who have the I or II group of disabilities to receive a disability pension.
The Verkhovna Rada refused to raise the salaries of prosecutors. 38% of the management staff of the prosecutor's office have registered disability.
