Podoliak about effectiveness of international strategy of containing russia: geography of war expanding like aggressive cancer

Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, believes that the expansion of the geography of war in the world proves the ineffectiveness of the international strategy of deterring the aggressor country russia.

Podoliak wrote about this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"In the 33rd month of the Great War, we can already draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the international strategy of containing the Russian Federation: the geography of the war is expanding like an aggressive cancer. Iran is an active accomplice in the crime. The troops of the DPRK, pushed back beyond the 38th parallel on the Korean Peninsula 70 years ago, appeared on the border of Europe. Russian missiles and drones are flying into Poland and Romania," he noted.

In addition, Podoliak noted that the special services of the russian federation have launched a sabotage campaign in Europe: trains derail, factories burn, putin pays for the activities of left-wing and right-wing extremists who poison the political systems of their countries.

"European security has become so fragile that the traditionally neutral Sweden and Finland were forced to quickly join NATO. A number of countries instead chose the role of pro-Russian collaborators. The Russian Federation is waging a hybrid war against Moldova and Georgia, and Georgia is on the verge of capitulation. A global network of Russian propaganda and disinformation flourishes around the whole world," he wrote.

The adviser also emphasized that the impunity of the russian federation and personally of its leader putin, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, turns international law and the UN Charter into a joke, smaller countries are forced to look for strong patrons, and this stimulates the expansion of the anti-Western alliance.

Podoliak points out that if the deterrence plan has not worked, it is time to move on to the Victory Plan.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan for Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, the first point of the Victory Plan envisages inviting Ukraine to NATO now, in order for Ukraine to join the Alliance after the war.

Zelenskyy also presented the Victory Plan to the leaders of the G7 countries and the European Union.
