Putin will not win war in Ukraine even with DPRK troops - Austin

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is sure that North Korean troops will not help dictator vladimir putin in the war against Ukraine.

He said this during a joint briefing with South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong Hyun on October 30, the European Pravda reports.

According to data available in the U.S., North Korea has sent about 10,000 soldiers for training in eastern russia, and some of these North Korean troops have already moved closer to Ukraine. North Korean soldiers are dressed in russian uniforms and equipped with russian equipment.

Austin emphasized that turning to a rogue state like North Korea for military aid only underscores how big putin's problems are.

The head of the Pentagon noted that the U.S. is fully aware of the consequences for the security of both Europe and the Indo-Pacific region.

"Putin will not prevail in Ukraine even with more help from North Korea, but these deeply concerning developments only underscore the importance of our alliance with the ROK and other allies and partners committed to shared security and prosperity," he emphasized.

Recall that the Pentagon explained earlier what would happen if North Korean soldiers sent to russia were killed by Ukraine with weapons provided by the United States.
