Zelenskyy indignant at "leaking" of secret clause of Victory Plan with request for Tomahawk missiles

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was outraged by the leak of information about Ukraine's request for Tomahawk missiles, which was supposed to be confidential.

The head of state said this in an interview with representatives of the leading mass media of Northern European countries on October 30.

"When many countries started to support the Victory Plan, you see what is happening now in the media - they said that Ukraine wants or wanted to get many missiles, such as Tomahawk, etc.," he said.

According to the President, the Tomahawk issue was confidential information between Ukraine and the United States.

"How to understand the message about the Tomahawk? It was confidential information between Ukraine and the White House. This means that there is nothing confidential between the partners," the head of state said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 16, Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada.

On October 18, a high-ranking representative of the US President Joe Biden's administration stated that there is currently no consensus among NATO members regarding the invitation of Ukraine to the Alliance.

On October 17, NATO Secretary General Rutte said that one day Ukraine will become the 33rd or 34th member of the alliance.

We will remind you that on October 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly presented the Victory Plan, the first point of which is an invitation to NATO.
