As a result of the night attack on Kyiv, the building of the Jewish school Perlyna [Pearl] was seriously damaged.
The Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"As a result of the night attack on Kyiv, the building of the Perlyna Jewish school was seriously damaged. Fortunately, no one was in the building at the time of the attack and there were no casualties," he said.
Brodsky added that as a result of being hit by a russian drone, a nearby residential building was also damaged, and several people were injured.
The Ambassador said that in the morning he contacted the Chief Rabbi of Kyiv, Jonathan Markovitch, and expressed his support.
He assured that the embassy will do everything to help the community to resume the work of the school in the shortest possible time.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klychko reported that in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, a fire broke out in apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors in an apartment building due to an attack by russian drones, and nine people were injured, including an 11-year-old girl.
