6,877 sentences have been handed down to corrupt officials since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation. Such data have been published in the Unified State Register of Persons Who Committed Corrupt or Corruption-Related Offenses of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), the Opendatabot portal reports.
Most often this year, corrupt officials were convicted under the following articles:
- Offering, promising or giving an illegal benefit to an official — 663 convictions or 37.7% of the total number. This is a third less than last year;
- Untimely submission of declarations – 623 sentences or 35.4%. Compared to last year, such violations increased by as much as 34 times.
- Violation of the requirements for the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest - 281 sentences or 16%. This is half as much as last year.
In 98% of cases this year, criminals were sentenced to a fine - that's 1,714 sentences. Only 1.5% of convicts received a prison sentence - that's 27 sentences.

This year, the largest number of offenders were sentenced in the Lviv Region - 172 or 9.8% of the total number. A little less perpetrators were convicted in the Vinnytsia Region – 151 or 8.6%. The Odesa Region closed the top three with 115 cases or 6.5%.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a bill that would allow to reduce the punishment of those suspected or accused of corruption for incriminating testimony to the investigation.
