President of Georgia calls elections in country "russian" and calls for protests

The President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, called the parliamentary elections in the country "russian" and falsified, and announced the non-recognition of the voting results.

Her words were quoted by Ekho Kavkaza and Georgia Online on Sunday, October 27.

"I do not recognize these elections. These elections cannot be recognized. This is the same as recognizing the entry of russia here, subordination of Georgia to russia. I did not come to the country for this. Our ancestors did not live for this and we will not accept this. No one can take away the European future from Georgia," Zourabichvili emphasized.

The President said that Georgia became a victim of "a russian special operation of hybrid warfare." Zourabichvili urged everyone to go to Rustaveli Avenue on Monday at 7:00 p.m. According to her, vote confiscation and all methods used in other countries were used for falsification. The President confirmed that she does not recognize the results presented to the public by the Central Election Commission.

In Georgia, they are going to approve the government despite the opposition politicians' refusal to recognize the results of the vote.

We will remind you that the EU Summit actually announced the suspension of Georgia's accession to the European Union.
