The head of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Bill Nelson, called for an end to the contacts of the billionaire and founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, with the russian dictator, vladimir putin.

Nelson made the statement against the background of the publication of an investigation by The Wall Street Journal, which claimed that Musk has been in regular contact with putin since 2022. It was about the billionaire's conversations, during which "personal topics, business and geopolitical tensions" were discussed.
This caused "concern" at the head of NASA. Musk currently works with NASA and the US military, so he has access to confidential US government and intelligence information.
"I don't know if it's true, but I think it's worth investigating. If it's true, it's a cause for concern, especially for NASA, the Department of Defense and some intelligence agencies," Nelson said.
It will be recalled that The Wall Street Journal published an article that claimed that a businessman, who has access to sensitive classified information, regularly talks and corresponds with the russian dictator putin.
