PrivatBank increased its profit by 11.5% to UAH 48.4 billion in 9 months of the current year compared to the same period last year.
This is stated in the bank's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the results of the nine months of 2024, the bank's profit before taxation reached UAH 64.01 billion, and the net profit was UAH 48.35 billion (+11.5% y/y).
Since the beginning of the year, the bank's loan portfolio has increased by 18.4%, exceeding UAH 108.99 billion as of the end of September.
The quality of the credit portfolio determines almost zero costs for the formation of additional reserves to cover credit risks.
According to the results of the nine months of 2024, operating expenses increased by only 4.8% compared to the same period last year, which is significantly lower than the rate of inflation.
Since the beginning of the year, PrivatBank has donated UAH 167.06 million to charity, which was aimed at helping hospitals and medical facilities, strengthening the country's defense capabilities, social projects, and helping employees.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 100% of PrivatBank belongs to the state represented by the Ministry of Finance.
